spring leaves

I guess there has been a lot of lace going on lately. It's not that I consider myself a lace knitter, really. I consider myself more of a sock, hat, and cowl knitter, usually. But I have to admit, there is something really magical about taking that curled up bundle of yarn and blocking it and watching it transform into a wispy, delicate, beautiful piece of knitting. When you hold the finished product in your hands...there are just no words for that feeling.

Anyway, spring leaves. I used pink cashmere cobweb-ish weight yarn that I unraveled from a thrifted sweater. Now that I think of it, I have a couple more thrifted sweaters somewhere...I think I'm going to dig them up and get more yarn out of them. Gotta love that super soft, super fine stuff.
